Collegiate 学术支持 Program (CASP)

CASP promotes the academic and personal growth of traditionally underrepresented and underserved students by providing purposeful and holistic services within an environment that celebrates diversity, inclusiveness and community.

CASP is available to 所有的学生 并提供:

  • an early awareness that a college degree is possible
  • a support system to maintain motivation for college, academic achievement, and personal standards for success during college years
  • referrals to one-on-one and small group instruction in 写作, mathematics and science
  • life skills and academic coaching
  • assistance in locating community resources for basic need

学生s who enroll in CASP are required to utilize academic support resources on campus, including:

  • Center for Academic Engagement
    In the Center for Academic Engagement, students have access to academic coaches, computer work stations and peer mentors. The center also offers brief "Engage-N-Go" workshops to help students build and strengthen study skills.
  • 学习中心
    The 学习中心 (Learning Assistance Center, Writing and Research Center and Computer Learning Center) offer a variety of academic support services, including tutoring and assistance with study skills, 写作, research and computers.
  • 学术顾问
    Dedicated academic advisors assist GAP program participants with course selection, understanding graduation requirements, problem solving and resource referral.
